The recipient receives up to $2,500 to assist with ASBO Internation Conference registration, ASBO membership, travel and lodging expenses for the ASBO Internation Conference & Expo.

The KASBO Academy has been formed by the KASBO Board of Directors to offer training to Kansas school business officials that will lead to certification as a KASBO School Business Official.
We envision a program of training that covers basic information and competencies required of Kansas business officials.
On Friday, February 21, we are offering Facilities at a cost of $150, which includes 6 hours of instruction and lunch. Please see the course information below:

This $2,500 scholarship is presented in memory of Karen Schadel, who served as KASBO's Executive Director for many years, and provides financial assistance to attend the ASBO International Annual Convention and Expo. This venue offers an opportunity to network with global colleagues, participate in professional development, and explore the variety of school business resources that ASBO International provides.
