The KASBO Academy has been formed by the KASBO Board of Directors to offer training to Kansas school business officials that will lead to certification as a KASBO School Business Official.
We envision a program of training that covers basic information and competencies required of Kansas business officials.
On Friday, April 11, we are offering Ancillary Services at a cost of $150, which includes 6 hours of instruction and lunch. Please see the course information below:
Ancillary Services - Course Syllabus
1. Student Transportation- Pupil transportation to and from school (route), Shuttles and activity trips
2. Food and Nutrition Services- National school breakfast and lunch programs
3. Facility Scheduling/Rental- Coordination of facility use for safety purposes, efficient use and public access
4. In-Plant Printing Services- Centralized print shop that can focus on efficient production at a lower cost and building staff time savings
5. Receiving and Distribution- Utilized to manage the just in time removal and deployment of assets and materials
